Executive Producer & CoFounder

She is the Co-founder & Executive Producer of Film DNA. She is considered one of the most passionate and hardworking producers in the field.

She started her career during her university years in 2006 as an Assistant director in an "doll night movie" and in 2008 her work ethic and dedication awarded her a full-time job in production at one of the top production houses in the field ”the producers films”.

Over a period of eight years, she worked on more than 100 TVC campaigns, TV shows and two feature films, with two campaigns winning awards at Dubai Lynx. She has been mentored and taught by current top-leading producers which has awarded her the trust of many.

In 2016 she became a freelance producer and worked across many PHs with productions across Dubai, London and Amsterdam.

Dina has a passion for directing, and her production experience has helped her to start achieving her longawaited dream of becoming a director.

In 2021 she worked as one the producers on the opening of Gouna Film Festival and in 2022 her company got awarded 3 silver lions at Cannes lions along 5 shortlists to be the first for her company as Executive Producer & Director.

Currently she's directing few projects along side having her own production company Film DNA.

He is considered one of the youngest producers in the field. He started his career in production during his school years which to led to his first full-time job offer in production during his freshman year of university.

He spent seven years working in TV commercials and highbudget TV shows and ended his full-time career with an unreleased feature film.

He is now regularly considered for acting in many TV campaigns and he has completed a lot of acting workshops. He is currently cast for his first role in a new-coming TV series.

In 2022 his company got awarded 3 silver lions at Cannes lions along 5 shortlists to be the first for her company as Executive Producer. Despite the many challenges that Covid added to our industry, it has not stopped him from starting a new challenge with his own company Film Dna in 2020.

Breakchains with Blockchain

Tens of thousands of women are sent to prison in Egypt every year. Their crime? Not being able to repay loans borrowed for amounts of only a few hundred dollars.

These women are known simply as "Al Gharemaat" or “The Fined”. The money they borrow goes to pay for medicine, emergencies and to take care of their families. However, the consequences for when they are not able to pay off the loans are devastating and lead to significant prison sentences, and having to leave their children and families to the unknown.

Horizon FCB Dubai created and launched a humane initiative: "Breakchains with Blockchain". Inspired by the reasons for their imprisonment, we created in collaboration with artists from around the world, NFTs. Each is designed to tell a woman's story, the story of why she was sentenced. Each NFT is priced at the amount it will cost to free them, from their sentence and give them a second chance at life. Along the collaboration of Film DNA Production house based in Cairo to film these women and produce a video that shows the women's stories.

"Breakchains with Blockchain" was launched on Mother's Day in Egypt on the 21st of March 2022. On this day three mothers were released with funds raised from NFTs, meaning these women are no longer "Al Gharemaat", and can finally be home with their families.

One of these women is “Rabia”, who when her sister died wanted to honor her memory and took a loan to pay her daughter's wedding. After being diagnosed with breast cancer she was too unwell to work and make the payments, she was arrested and sentenced to 2 years in prison. The amount she borrowed was only USD 254.

"Children of Female Prisoners Association" is one of the most active NGOs in Egypt working with Al Gharemaat and their children. It was founded in 1990 by Ms. Nawal Mustafa, winner of the "Hope Maker" award from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Working in partnership with Horizon FCB Dubai, together they are raising donations and awareness of this issue around the world, by utilizing a medium everyone is talking about, NFTs.
